I could never really find trousers that were both comfortable and a little bit smart. Especially around my tummy, it was always a struggle. Standing up, a pair of trousers would fit fine. But as soon as I sat down, the waistband started to dig in. Especially after a meal. I'd be shifting around on my chair the whole time.
At my age, I still want to look well put together. But I was fed up with walking around in tight trousers all day. The first thing I did when I got home was: trousers off, something comfy on.
I just wanted one pair of trousers I could wear anywhere, without my tummy bothering me all day.
I'd tried everything. A size up? Then they were far too loose around my legs and bottom. Stretch jeans? Still tight around my middle. And those comfy elasticated trousers I wear at home were lovely, but I wasn't going to wear them to visit anyone.

Visiting my daughter, doing the shopping, lunch with a friend. It was at that lunch that I really noticed the difference. Normally I'm tugging at my trousers after eating. This time, nothing bothered me.
And when I get home, they're no longer the first thing to come off. I wear the taupe pair with a light blouse or a dark cardigan and white trainers, and the black ones go with everything. I really wish I'd had these much sooner.
