Online store terms

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least the legal age required to enter into agreements independently, or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use this website.

You may not use our products or website for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.

We do our best to display product descriptions, colours, sizes, images and other details as accurately as possible.

However, colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings, device, lighting or other display conditions.

Product descriptions, availability and prices may change at any time.

We ensure that our products conform to the agreement and to the applicable legal requirements.

Prices

All prices are shown on our website and may change from time to time.

We reserve the right to correct errors in prices, product information or availability.

If an order is affected by an obvious pricing or product error, we may contact you to correct the issue or cancel the order and refund the amount paid.

Offers are without obligation. Any shipping costs, import duties and other additional costs will be stated with the offer.

Orders

When you place an order, you agree that all information you provide is accurate, current and complete.

After your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

An order confirmation does not automatically mean that an order has been definitively accepted if, for example, there is a problem with the payment, product availability, price, address details, suspected fraud or another issue with the order.

Refusing or cancelling orders

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit an order where reasonably necessary.

This may be the case, among other things, in the event of:

1. Incorrect or incomplete customer details

2. Payment problems

3. Suspected fraud or unauthorised transactions

4. Product availability issues

5. Pricing or listing errors

6. Unusual or suspicious ordering activity

If we cancel an order after payment has been made, the amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

Shipping

Shipping and delivery times are estimates only.

Please read our Shipping Policy for full information about processing times, estimated delivery times, carriers and direct shipping from suppliers.

Some orders may be shipped directly from our suppliers, including suppliers based outside the Netherlands or the European Union.

Orders are delivered within 14 business days, unless agreed otherwise. In the event of a delay, we will inform you within 14 days of the order.

For international shipments, the delivery term Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) applies. This means the customer is responsible for any import duties, VAT, customs and clearance fees, and for complying with the applicable import regulations.

Bridget & Sarah does not act as the official importer. Under these delivery terms, ownership of and responsibility for the goods pass to the customer upon shipment. Bridget & Sarah is not liable for delays, seizures, refusals or additional costs resulting from customs procedures or failure to comply with import obligations. Failure to meet these obligations does not in itself constitute grounds for cancellation or a refund.

Where necessary, we provide the usual shipping documents. The customer is responsible for checking any import restrictions, permits and product requirements in the destination country.

Returns and refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled in accordance with our Returns and Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms of Service is intended to exclude or limit consumer rights that may not be excluded or limited under applicable Dutch or European law.

You have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receiving your order without giving any reason. Return shipping costs are at your own expense. Refunds are processed within 14 days of withdrawal, provided the product is returned in its original condition.

Defects must be reported in writing within 14 days and complaints within 7 days of discovery. We respond to complaints within 14 days and will let you know if more time is needed. Products must be returned in their original packaging and condition.

Payment

We accept the secure payment methods made available at checkout.

These may include credit cards, iDEAL, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and other available payment methods.

By entering payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.

In accordance with the European CESOP regulations, payment service providers may record certain cross-border payment data and report it to the competent authorities.

Account information

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate account, billing and shipping information for all purchases made through our website.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity that takes place through your account.
